1. Arrange for Clinical Librarian involvement in enhancing your Evidence-Based Practice Where hospitals have a Clinical Librarian it is common practice to involve the CL either on an ad hoc or regular basis in evidence-based research in clinical settings. Some CLs attend ward rounds, or pre-and post ward round meetings; others base themselves regularly, one day or half a day a week in particular departments. If you would like to involve the Clinical Librarian in your clinical team, just contact us on 9342 4091 or by email: rmh.libinfo@mh.org.au Note: this service is only available to current members of the Health Sciences Library (based at Royal Melbourne Hospital)
2. Request a Clinical Q & A Evidence search If you need an evidence-based search* conducted for patient care or for general research purposes, please complete and submit the following online form. *Important: an evidence search query is a) a query regarding a specific intervention for a specific condition, or b) a query regarding a specific model/policy that will be used to effect or update a policy or a guideline. For all other queries, please complete the 'Request a database search' form (available on the main RMH Library website). This service is only available to current members of the Health Sciences Library
