Three forms of patient billing are available depending on doctor preference:
 Generation of the doctor's usual accounts, including fee collection
Simplified medical billing with no gaps
Simplified medical billing with known gaps
MBS accepts billing from both resident and visiting providers, operating at any private hospital or approved day facilities within Australia.
