   Evaluation

"Whilst there are a lot of evaluations to complete, the medical education unit visably take our feedback on board with education sessions organised mid-year based on our suggestions." - Dr Kruger Intern 2010

 Online Rotation Feedback

Evaluation processes are in place for each educational intervention and also for each rotation. Evaluation is an integral part in how the medical education shapes it's rotations, programs and other initiatives. These provide you with an outlet to anonymously raise issues that may be of concern to you as well as providing an opportunity to suggest new and innovative educational ideas that can be incorporated in the future. Currently the hospital is also involved with the Postgraduate Hospital Educational Environment Measure (PHEEM) which was developed after trials in the United Kingdom and provides a detailed and comparative assessment of intern hospital experiences.

Evaluation comes in the form of written, online and audience response systems. You will be asked to complete a number of surveys throughout the year to assist us to find out how you’re going. Help us help you, by completing these when requested.
