The Division of Cancer and Infection Medicine Services at The Royal Melbourne Hospital includes both inpatient and outpatient services for:

5 East: Bone Marrow Transplant Unit
5 East is a 9-bed ward and is a single room hepafiltered environment providing care for patients undergoing Autologous and Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplant for the treatment of malignant or benign haematological disease. 5 East is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator and Clinical Support Nurse who provide clinical education and support such as:
- Orientation Program
- In-service Education
- Short Course Program
- Graduate Nurse Program
- Clinical Development Program
- Postgraduate Certificate Program
- Local core competency achievements
5 North: Clinical Haematology and Medical Oncology
5 North is a 20-bed ward that provides specialised care for patients requiring inpatient treatment for both haematological malignancies and solid tumour cancers. 5North offer a placement rotation with the Graduate Nurse Program. 5 North is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator and a Clinical Support Nurse who provide clinical education and support such as:

5 West Day Centre
5 West Day Centre provides an ambulatory service for Oncology, Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant patients. The Service includes the administration of chemotherapy, biological modifiers, supportive care including transfusional work, a diagnostic bone marrow biopsy service and apheresis. 5WDC is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator and a Clinical Support Nurse who provide clinical education and support such as:

9 East: Infectious Diseases/General Medicine
9 East is a 28-bed unit that provides a service to Victorian Infectious Diseases Service (VIDS) patients, palliative care and acute general medical patients.
9 East is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator and a Clinical Support Nurse who provide clinical education and support such as:
