Clinical Knowledge revamped. Clinical Knowledge (formerly "Prodigy") is a more linear version of the Map of Medicine and is limited to Primary Care topics. It is free. IcebergSim - a clinical trial simulator - is developed by Eduardo Bergel and David Sackett and can simulate RCTs. A user can conceive a trial, including risk subgroups, sample size, outcome rates, effect size, lost to follow-up, compliance, stopping rules, etc. The program then generates 1000s of such trials. A summary of the results is presented, including relative risks, relative risk reductions, confidence intervals, p-values, etc. Also includes a sample size calculator for cluster or individually randomised trials. Global Evidence Mapping (GEM) Initiative: http://www.evidencemap.org/ The GEM Initiative is a non-profit collaborative academic program of the University of Melbourne, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. With funding support from the Victorian Neurotrauma Initiative, GEM is developing and maintaining up-to-date maps of research evidence in the broad clinical areas of traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.
